Entrepreneurs from Yerbas Buenas, Linares, Sagrada Familia, Licantén, Curicó, San Clemente, Cauquenes, and Pelarco, among other municipalities, came to Talca to participate in the “Entrepreneur Meeting” of Fundación Luksic, held at the Inacap headquarters.
The event, which brought together more than 70 winners of the Impulso Chileno and Impulso Inicial programs of the Foundation, aimed to provide new training tools, generate support networks, and understand the impact of the Foundation’s support on entrepreneurs’ businesses.
“As a Foundation, we seek to be in constant contact with our beneficiaries, to know how they have progressed in their projects, the challenges they have faced, and also to provide them with an opportunity for training and connection with other entrepreneurs and organizations in the area,” explained Cristián Schalper, director of the Entrepreneurship area of Fundación Luksic.
During the meeting, two entrepreneurs, both from the food industry and winners of Impulso Chileno, shared their experience and how the journey of entrepreneurship has been with their families. In addition, the founder of “Prefiero el Maule,” María Pía Yovanovic, explained how her current foundation was born, which seeks to enhance Maule entrepreneurs and strengthen the region’s identity.
“Grateful for this space to meet more entrepreneurs from the region, learn more about the foundation, which supported me with a machine that allowed me to improve production times and quantities,” said Claudia Arebalo, owner of “Menguante tejidos y más” and beneficiary of Impulso Inicial.
For her part, María Gabriela Urbina, winner of the sixth edition of Impulso Chileno with her pastry shop Biscuit Talca, indicated that “I am super happy to participate in this meeting, it is an honor to meet and share with other entrepreneurs like me, people who are also contributing to the country.”
Regional Encounters
Fundación Luksic has already held six regional meetings, in Tarapacá, Valparaíso, Maule, Ñuble, Los Lagos, and Magallanes, which seek to bring together its community and provide new tools for the growth of their businesses. The next event will take place in the Arica and Parinacota Region.
From 2018 to the present, more than 13 thousand entrepreneurs from all over the country have been supported by the Initial Impulse program, and 920 through Impulso Chileno.
