The Foundation has supported more than 1,650 Chilean and foreign scholarship holders. Of these, more than 65% are Chileans seeking to improve their skills and knowledge, as well as contribute to building a better society.

In collaboration with 16 world-renowned universities, the Luksic Scholars Foundation has a portfolio of more than 30 undergraduate and graduate programs and more than 1,650 Chilean and foreign scholarship recipients. Of these, more than 65% are Chileans seeking to improve their skills and knowledge, as well as to contribute to building a better society.

These are the figures that summarize the 22 years of Luksic Scholars, an initiative that was born in 2000 by the Luksic family and that two years ago was established as a foundation to continue promoting learning experiences that connect Chile with people and universities around the world.

Since its inception, Luksic Scholars has coordinated with academic institutions to implement programs in countries such as China, Croatia, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and, of course, Chile. The Foundation’s work has enabled access to scholarships in programs such as masters in public policy, public administration, economics, business, global leadership and law, in addition to supporting the development of symposiums on entrepreneurship, educational conferences and research in different areas.

Currently, the work of Luksic Scholars is based on three main axes: facilitating the access of Chilean talent to programs of international institutions, through collaboration agreements and communication activities; connecting those who have participated in the programs in a global network to provide them with more opportunities in their work and academic career, and supporting the arrival in Chile of offices of international universities so that they can develop and manage projects.

Looking to the future, the Foundation plans to continue promoting education as a tool that generates collaborative networks in a globalized world, in which Chile has much to contribute to the exchange of knowledge.

The Luksic Scholars Foundation is part of the Luksic Foundation, the first and oldest of the Luksic family foundations, which brings together and supports a large part of the family philanthropy.
