Starting this year, the Luksic Foundation program that supports entrepreneurs nationwide with machinery and tools to professionalize their production processes will have three application windows aimed at improving the quality of service and program efficiency.

To date, over 11,000 micro-entrepreneurs from all regions of Chile have received support from Luksic Foundation’s Impulso Inicial program. The program seeks to provide tangible support to those who need a boost to enhance the growth of their businesses but lack the means and/or resources to do so. This support primarily focuses on industrial and semi-industrial machinery and/or tools to professionalize their production processes.

With the goal of providing more effective, personalized, and quality support to entrepreneurs, starting in 2024, program applications will be accepted in three periods: March, June, and September. Through Impulso Inicial, the aim is to support owners of traditional businesses that operate periodically and consistently. While there is no requirement to have initiated activities with the Tax Service (SII), the business must have been operating for at least six months, and the applicant must have a valid Household Social Registry (RSH) record.

2,000 supports nationwide

“Through Impulso Inicial, in 2024, we aim to reach 2,000 entrepreneurs from all regions in a concrete and relevant manner. With defined application windows, we hope that applicants can better prepare when presenting their projects and that the Foundation can provide them with more personalized support tailored to their needs,” explains Cristián Schalper, director of the Entrepreneurship area at Luksic Foundation.

Application Windows: March, June, and September 2024

Applications will be submitted through an online web form available in the mentioned months at www.impulsoinicial.cl, aiming to gather information about the entrepreneur’s profile, business, and needs.

The dates for each period will be announced in advance through the Luksic Foundation’s social media channels, which can be found at www.fundacionluksic.cl.”
