Regarding the recent discussion about Chile Scholarships and the future of international education opportunities for Chileans, we share the view that the offering of postgraduate programs in the country has increased in number, diversity, and academic quality. However, it is essential to remember that studying abroad goes beyond obtaining a degree. This experience is transformative on a personal level, fostering adaptability, the acquisition of a global perspective, and integration into multicultural contexts.
Education abroad not only enriches the professional development of Chileans, but also allows them to establish connections with experts and professionals from all over the world, generating international networks that are essential for the development of joint projects, innovative research, and the transfer of best practices globally. These connections facilitate the building of collaborative responses to address the new challenges posed by this new era of knowledge.
