The deadline to apply for the Luksic Foundation's sports schools has been extended.

The free soccer and field hockey schools offer sports training, workshops and talks on positive parenting and healthy eating. The application process has been extended and will now be available until April 15.

A space where they can stay active, meet new friends, have fun and learn important values for their development. The Luksic Foundation’s sports schools are available in two disciplines: field hockey and soccer, which seek to promote sports, encourage a healthy lifestyle and the development of socio-emotional skills in children and adolescents.

In addition to being totally free, the program offers talks and workshops on positive parenting and healthy eating for the families of participating students. Although the application process ended on March 31, an extension was added so that applications will be available until April 15.

“The Luksic Foundation’s sports schools are available to all those who want to live a new experience that allows them to grow, stay active and improve their sports skills,” said Rosario Donoso, from the Luksic Foundation’s Sports area.

Soccer

The Luksic Foundation’s Sports area has 14 free soccer schools available in 10 municipalities in the Metropolitan Region: El Bosque, Estación Central, Independencia, La Florida, La Pintana, Lo Prado, Peñalolén, Puente Alto, Pudahuel, Renca and San Miguel; and one in the city Antofagasta.

The sports training sessions are held twice a week and are available for boys and girls between 7 and 13 years of age. To apply, the parent or responsible adult must complete the following form: https://bit.ly/3VIam7C.

Field hockey

Field hockey sports schools are exclusively for girls between 9 and 14 years old. They are located in the municipalities of Lo Prado, Independencia, Peñalolén and Calle Larga, in the Province of Los Andes.

As with the soccer schools, classes are given twice a week and during training they receive sports equipment such as sticks, balls and protection to practice this discipline.
