These are some testimonials from children and parents who have participated in Fundación Luksic’s Hockey and Soccer Sports Schools, which are now accepting applications for the 2025 training sessions.
The program includes 20 schools:
- 13 soccer schools located in Antofagasta, Puente Alto, Renca, El Bosque, Estación Central, Independencia, La Florida, La Pintana, Lo Prado, and Peñalolén.
- 7 hockey schools in Antofagasta, Estación Central, Independencia, La Florida, La Pintana, Lo Prado, and Peñalolén.
The schools are open to children and young people aged 7 to 13, who can attend free training sessions twice a week. Additionally, the program provides full sports equipment, including uniforms and necessary gear for all participants.
A Holistic Approach to Sports Development
Rosario Donoso, Fundación Luksic’s Director of Sports, highlighted the program’s impact:
“In the Sports Schools, we work with children not only on sports-specific skills such as teamwork, camaraderie, and resilience but also on social-emotional learning tools that help them navigate all areas of life.”
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian through the online form available at https://deportes.fundacionluksic.cl/. Spots are limited, and once registration is confirmed by the Fundación’s team, selected participants will receive details regarding their training schedules, which will always take place after school hours.
Comprehensive Support for Families
Beyond training sessions, Fundación Luksic also supports parents and caregivers through free Positive Parenting workshops held throughout the year. These sessions aim to strengthen parenting skills and foster a nurturing environment for children’s development.
