Sunday, November 13, at 11:59 p.m., was the final deadline for the 2,500 entrepreneurs who passed to the second evaluation stage of Impulso Chileno, a program of the Entrepreneurship area of the Luksic Foundation, to complete a new form, as well as attach a video explaining their business and documentation to continue in the race.

The fifth version of the Luksic Foundation’s Entrepreneurship program received more than 21,000 applications from entrepreneurs from all over the country. After an exhaustive review by the Evaluation Committee – composed of members of the Luksic Foundation, the Simon de Cyrene Corporation and the Pontifical Catholic University – 2,500 applicants moved on to the second stage of the selection process.

The 2,500 pre-selected applicants, who were notified on Friday, November 4 by mail, via text message and published on our website, had to answer new questions, send a video explaining their business and upload the requested documentation to continue in the race.

“We congratulate all the entrepreneurs who completed this second stage of the application process. We have received excellent projects, so now we have a difficult task ahead of us to select the semi-finalists, finalists and winners. We wish the applicants every success,” says Cristián Schalper, director of the Entrepreneurship area of the Luksic Foundation.

Next steps

During November and December, the evaluation committee will review in detail the pre-selected ventures that correctly submitted the requested information. Each venture will be evaluated according to three criteria: differentiated proposal, good business and good project.

From the evaluations, a ranking will be made with 700 semi-finalists, who will be invited, during December, to an online personal interview in order to learn more about their proposals and motivations.

In January 2023, the commission will be in charge of selecting the 250 winners who will receive between $3 and $5 million to invest in their businesses, as well as training by experts from the UC School of Management and personalized mentoring by the Simon de Cyrene Corporation.

Applicants will be notified via email and will receive instructions on the process. All information and details will be available on our social networks and website.
