IMPULSO CHILENO: HOW TO APPLY THE PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS ENTREPRENEURS FROM ALL OVER CHILE

Impulso Chileno is an initiative of the Luksic Foundation, which provides financing, training and personalized mentoring to entrepreneurs throughout Chile to promote the growth of their businesses. Applications for its fifth version will open on October 3rd.

“Impulso Chileno changed my life. The financing helped me a lot, but the advice of my mentor and the classes were fundamental to be able to successfully achieve the changes and see the growth that my business has today”, says Caroline Aqueveque, winner of the third version of the program and owner of Rock en Rollos.

In its four editions, Impulso Chileno has supported 420 entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, from Arica to Punta Arenas. On Monday, October 3, the program will open its fifth call for applications through its website www.impulsochileno.cl. Applications will be open until Sunday, October 16 and this year a total of 250 winners will be selected.

But, what are the requirements to apply? The call is aimed at entrepreneurs over 18 years of age, Chileans or foreigners domiciled in Chile with definitive residence, who have started first category activities before the Internal Revenue Service, either as an individual or as a legal entity, prior to April 1, 2022. In addition, the applicant must be the owner or majority shareholder of the business, and the business must have annual net sales (or proportional if you have less than one year of operation) greater than 200 UF and less than 10,000 UF, among others, which you can find in the legal bases available on the website.

What do I need to know to apply?

Applications are made exclusively through an online form, hosted on the program’s official website: www.impulsochileno.cl. To access, an account must be created (with a username and password, which will be personal and private). After logging in, the participant will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address used to activate his/her account. With these steps ready, you must enter the form and follow the instructions.

Some of the information that must be taken into account when filling out the form is to know the legal status of the business -for example: Family Microenterprise, Individual Limited Liability Company and/or natural person with commercial activity-, the company name and to be clear about what the financing would be used for in case of being selected.

“It is essential to know the business very well -what it does, what it sells, the difference with the competition-, and above all to have confidence and conviction that your business is the best. I had applied to another edition, but I did not give up”, says Cristián Romero, winner of the 2021 edition and owner of Crova-RST SPA, who also advises that “the initial project has to be the same until the end, not constantly changing, for that you have to be very clear about the projection of how you see your business in the long term”.

All the information on the dates and bases of the program are available on the website (www.impulsochileno.cl) and its social media.
