In April, we celebrate the month of entrepreneurship and we want to emphasize the importance of trusting Chilean entrepreneurs, it is essential that we believe in them, that we invest in them and support them in different and multiple ways beyond providing them with financing: that we buy their products or services, that we promote their businesses, that we care about their training, that we believe they can grow.
In Chile, there are about 2 million micro-entrepreneurs and 75% state they have not been trained in the activity they perform. At Fundación Luksic, we have worked with more than 13,000, and in the vast majority of cases, we have found that what they value most is not the financing, but the training opportunities, the workshops, the mentorship, and the networks they establish with other participants.
Entrepreneurs need to be trained is essential for improving their skills, their business competencies, to enhance their leadership, and increase their chances of success.
It is the entrepreneurs who drive the country’s economy, who with their businesses support their families, their neighborhoods, and their communities. They need us to trust in them, and as a country, we need to believe in them to reactivate the economy, create more jobs, and foster entrepreneurial spirit, which promotes creativity and the development of Chile.
