In Chile, there are more than 800,000 women microentrepreneurs who, despite the difficulties of recent years, have managed to move their businesses forward.
Through the Entrepreneurship area of the Luksic Foundation, we have reached more than 9,000 entrepreneurs throughout the country, of which 7,000 are women who own their own businesses. Our programs have demonstrated the great impact that comprehensive and sustainable support can have on their businesses, initiatives that include financing, but also training and mentoring from experts.
On International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, we invite the ecosystem of institutions that promote entrepreneurship in our country to work collaboratively and amplify the opportunities for each of these women. When a woman grows, it is a community that thrives, contributing to the economy of the whole country.
