The 250 entrepreneurs who win the fifth edition of Impulso Chileno, a program of the Entrepreneurship area of the Luksic Foundation, will receive funding -between $3 and $5 million-, personalized mentoring from Corporación Simón de Cirene and online classes given by the School of Management of the Catholic University.
In this new version, more than 43 thousand entrepreneurs started their application on the platform and 21,780 applications were successfully submitted. These will be evaluated by the program’s committee, and during the first week of November the 2,500 pre-selected candidates will be announced.
“Each of the 21,000 applications is an entrepreneur’s dream. We know that these are difficult times for small and medium-sized enterprises, and through Impulso Chileno we seek to give them that boost so that they can move their businesses forward. Now we have the challenge of continuing the selection process to define the winners of the program,” said Cristián Schalper, director of the Entrepreneurship area of the Luksic Foundation.
Of the total number of applications received, 67.2% were from regions other than the Metropolitan Region, and 63% were women. Among the most popular sectors are food (24.1%), commerce (22.4%) and services (17.7%).
Next steps
According to the program’s legal bases, the 2,500 pre-selected applicants will be announced on Friday, November 4. They will have to send new documentation to advance in the selection process, such as the tax folder and a video telling more about their business, among others.
The results and next steps will be informed in a timely manner through the program’s official e-mail. The 250 winners will be published in January 2023, through Impulso Chileno’s social networks and the website www.impulsochileno.cl.
For any questions, applicants can write to the program at [email protected].
Congratulations to all the entrepreneurs who applied to this new version of the program and we wish them great success!
