The origins of the International Education area date back to the year 2000, when Luksic Scholars began managing a portfolio of programs aimed at promoting international academic opportunities. To date, more than 2,000 individuals have participated in one of these programs at various universities around the world.

Fellowships are available for academics from any discipline to undertake a stay of at least four months abroad.
Currently, programs are available at two universities.
