Pirinel Park

The park is located in the Los Ríos Region in an important biodiversity zone that harbors a great variety of species and unique ecosystems. Among the main conservation targets are the pudú, Darwin’s frog, the temperate rainforest, and the peaks that provide vital water to the region. This ecosystem is essential not only for its beauty, but also for its critical role in maintaining local water resources.

    Unique natural heritage area for its biodiversity in the commune of Panguipulli.

  • Intervention

    The creation of the park includes 12,000 hectares, 20 km of trails and 5 viewpoints available to the community.

    To conserve the biodiversity of the area, protect the territory and its conservation targets, and contribute to scientific research.
