4 professional technical students from Antofagasta to participate in innovation experience at Babson College

During these days, the closing of the course “Entrepreneurship as a Life Skill” was held by the Luksic Foundation in conjunction with Babson College, where four outstanding students won a full scholarship to participate in a week at Babson Build, the leading university in entrepreneurship in the United States.

In this second edition of the program, more than 25 students from professional technical careers in Antofagasta received tools aimed at developing an entrepreneurial mindset, thanks to the collaboration between the International Training area of the Luksic Foundation and Babson College.

Throughout the program, students from different careers and institutions were brought together and were challenged to strengthen their learning. At the end of the activities, the four selected students were announced, who for their outstanding participation, won the chance to travel to Boston, USA in 2026, to live a week of immersion in entrepreneurship and innovation at Babson Build.

“At the Luksic Foundation, we firmly believe in the importance of technical students strengthening their learning and developing their capabilities to the maximum. Therefore, we recognize and value the skills they build with Babson College, knowing that this knowledge will accompany them throughout their professional and personal lives. As for Babson Build, we are very much looking forward to the trip, as it will undoubtedly be a unique opportunity to open their horizons and empower their future,” said Trinidad García, Director of International Education at Fundación Luksic.

The selected students, all from the city of Antofagasta, are Jonathan Pérez, from Ceduc UCN and student of Geomining; Valentina Rodríguez from INACAP and student of Logistics Engineering; Noelia Claure also from INACAP and student of Business Administration; and Francisca Rojo from IP & CFT Santo Tomás and student of Social Service. “It was a very enriching experience full of challenges in which I learned to know myself and to reflect on the opportunities of the environment and what it really means to be an entrepreneur,” said Jonathan Perez.
