Applications Are Now Open for the 2026 Luksic “More Women in STEM” Scholarship
For the third consecutive year, the Luksic Foundation is accepting applications for the Luksic More Women in STEM Scholarship, designed to support women pursuing technical degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at Duoc UC, AIEP, Santo Tomás, or INACAP. The application period will remain open until March 30 at https://becas.fundacionluksic.cl/.
The initiative aims to provide financial support for the academic development of women pursuing technical STEM degrees by awarding 150,000 Chilean pesos that they can use at their discretion throughout the formal duration of their degree program, starting from the program’s start date. For this edition, the Luksic Foundation will select a total of 100 recipients, who must meet the established eligibility requirements to apply.
Chilean women or foreign women with permanent residency in Chile may apply if they belong to households in the bottom 60% of the country’s income bracket, as verified by the Social Household Registry (RSH), and are currently enrolled in an in-person higher technical program in the STEM field, lasting up to five months, at INACAP, Duoc UC, IP CFT Santo Tomás, or AIEP.
The application period will remain open until Monday, March 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., and the results will be announced on April 15 and 16.

To date, more than 200 women from across the country have received this scholarship, which aims to promote women’s participation in STEM fields by supporting the education of young women who will contribute to the country’s technological and scientific development.
