Impulso Chileno already has its 2,500 pre-selected candidates

With more than 22,600 applications, the seventh version of Impulso Chileno demonstrated the enthusiasm of Chilean entrepreneurs to strengthen and expand their businesses, highlighting the diversity of the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.

From the north to the south of the country, the call gathered innovative ideas and businesses in different sectors. The regions took center stage, with 70% of the applicants coming from regions other than the Metropolitan Region. Of the total number of applicants, 65% were women, highlighting the growing female leadership in entrepreneurship. The sectors with the highest participation were food (25%), services (21%) and commerce (20%), reflecting the diversity of businesses seeking to grow and generate impact in their communities.

After reviewing that the applications met the eligibility criteria, the Luksic Foundation team defined the 2,500 pre-selected entrepreneurs, who were contacted by mail and advanced to the next stage. In this phase, both the characteristics of the business were evaluated, considering the relevance of the financing requested, as well as the profile of the entrepreneur, ensuring that each applicant has the commitment and skills necessary to carry out his or her project.

“We are very pleased to announce the 2,500 pre-selected candidates of Impulso Chileno. We appreciate the efforts of all the applicants and hope that those who did not advance to this stage are not discouraged, and that the Entrepreneur’s Compass has provided them with a useful guide to orient and strengthen their businesses,” said Cristián Shalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at the Luksic Foundation.

Next Steps:

The 2,500 pre-selected applicants must now complete the second stage of the application process, which includes submitting additional documentation and answering additional questions. Once this information has been submitted, each participant will be contacted by telephone to confirm key data.

Finally, the 500 winners of the program will be announced during the week of November 17 by e-mail. They will then be invited to a kick-off ceremony, details of which will be communicated in due course.

All the information about Impulso Chileno and the next steps are available in the program’s terms and conditions and will be communicated through the Foundation’s social networks.
