Impulso Chileno: how to apply for the program that supports entrepreneurs from all over Chile

With the aim of providing concrete support to Chilean entrepreneurs, the Foundation launched the seventh edition of the Impulso Chileno program, which this year will provide up to $5 million pesos to 500 entrepreneurs formalized in the first category before the Internal Revenue Service.

“With this new version of Impulso Chileno we want to strongly tell the country’s entrepreneurs that we trust in them, in their businesses, in their talents and abilities. We have seen firsthand the great stories of men and women who, with dedication and passion, are moving their businesses forward in all the regions of Chile, and that is why we want to continue giving this impulse to more people,” explains Cristian Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at the Luksic Foundation.

What are the requirements to apply?

The call is aimed at entrepreneurs over 18 years of age, Chileans or foreigners domiciled in Chile with definitive residence, who have started first category activities before the Internal Revenue Service, either as an individual or as a legal entity, prior to March 1, 2025.

The applicant must be the owner or majority shareholder of the business, and the business must have annual net sales (or proportional if less than one year in operation) greater than 150 UF and less than 5,000 UF, among others.

In addition, entrepreneurs must carry out a diagnosis on the platform La Brújula del Emprendedor, which is a tool that, through a diagnostic form, provides personalized information for each entrepreneur according to the level of progress of his or her business in different areas. What do the winners receive?

Selected entrepreneurs will receive up to $5 million pesos to invest in their business. The amount received may be used mainly for fixed assets (machinery, equipment, tools, furniture, patents and trademarks, etc.) and tools for the digitalization of the business (e.g. sales and/or inventory software, etc.). Also, consultancies or leasing of real estate or vehicles, and a smaller percentage may go to diffusion and working capital, such as raw materials or merchandise. It should be noted that the program finances the taxes associated with the purchase of each of these items (within the awarded budget).

Where to apply?

Applications are made exclusively through an online form available at www.fundacionluksic.cl.

To access, an account must be created (with a username and password, which will be personal and private). Once logged in, the participant will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address used to activate his/her account. With these steps ready, you must enter the form and follow the instructions.

Some information that should be taken into account when filling out the form is to know the legal status of the business -for example, a family microenterprise, a Limited Liability Individual Company and/or a natural person with a commercial activity-, the company name and to be clear about what the financing would be used for in case of being selected.

If I have participated in other programs in the Entrepreneurship area such as Impulso Inicial or Despega Mujer, is it possible to apply to Impulso Chileno?

Yes, the important thing is to comply with the requirements of the program that are established in the bases.
