Impulso Chileno: How to Apply to the Luksic Foundation Program That Supports Entrepreneurs Across the Country
In the eighth edition of the program, 500 winners will be eligible to receive up to 5,000,000 pesos to strengthen their businesses. To apply, entrepreneurs must meet certain requirements, including having their business formally registered as a first-category entity, meeting a certain annual sales threshold, and registering with the Luksic Foundation’s La Brújula del Emprendedor program.
“The message I’d like to share with business owners is to take a chance and believe in themselves. All it takes is that first step—because once you take it, the rest is smooth sailing,” says Daniela Campos, the 2022 winner of Impulso Chileno with her bakery, Dulce Moni. That same spirit inspires this new edition of the contest: to encourage business owners to take a chance, think big, and trust in their talents to make their dreams come true.
With the funding, Daniela was able to purchase equipment that allowed her to increase her production and reach new customer segments, as well as set up a larger, better-equipped kitchen that enables her to train other women entrepreneurs and share her baking techniques.
On September 1, the Luksic Foundation launched the eighth edition of Impulso Chileno, which this year will award 500 entrepreneurs from across Chile with funding of up to $5 million pesos to invest in fixed assets, machinery, digitalization tools, marketing, and working capital.
Drawing on her experience, Daniela shares another piece of advice for those thinking about applying for this new call for proposals: “I’d tell entrepreneurs to focus on their project, to have a clear idea of what they need to grow, and, when filling out the application form, to have a plan for how they’ll use the investment if they’re selected.”
“My invitation to all entrepreneurs in the country is to think big and dare to apply to Impulso Chileno. Often, taking that first step can make all the difference in growing a business. I encourage you to stay tuned for updates and the various tips we’ll be sharing through social media and the Luksic Foundation’s official channels,” says Cristián Schalper, manager of social programs at the Luksic Foundation.
How do you apply, and what are the requirements?
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online form available on the website fundacionluksic.cl. To get started, applicants must create an account with a username and password, and then log in to the form using their registered email address.
Before applying, we recommend reviewing the application form and requirements in advance; these are available in the contest rules, which can be found in the “Knowledge” section of the foundation’s website. Once you’ve created an account, simply access the form and follow the instructions to complete your application.
To participate, individuals must register at La Brújula del Emprendedor by the Luksic Foundation and complete the corresponding assessment, as this step is required for the application to be considered valid.
In addition, they must be Chilean citizens or foreign nationals with duly documented permanent residency in Chile and be at least 18 years of age. They must also have registered as a “first-category” business with the Internal Revenue Service (SII)—either as an individual or a legal entity—before March 1, 2026, and be the owners or majority shareholders of the business.
Finally, the startup must have annual net sales—or pro-rata sales, if it has been in operation for less than one year—of more than 150 UF and less than 5,000 UF during the last calendar year.
Applications will be accepted until September 15 at fundacionluksic.cl.
