Impulso Chileno will award 500 entrepreneurs with up to $5 million pesos to grow their businesses

The organization launched the seventh edition of the program founded in 2018 by Andrónico Luksic Craig and which has already supported 1,420 entrepreneurs from all regions of Chile.

On September 22, the call for applications for the seventh version of Impulso Chileno began, a program of the Luksic Foundation that in this edition doubled the number of entrepreneurs and will award 500 people from all regions of the country with funding to grow their businesses. The winners may receive up to $5 million pesos. To apply, they must complete the form available at fundacionluksic.cl until October 6.

With the conviction of the social engine that is entrepreneurship in Chile -with almost 2 million entrepreneurs according to official figures-, Luksic Foundation launched the seventh edition of the program founded in 2018 by Andrónico Luksic Craig, which seeks to give a concrete boost to entrepreneurs across the country and that with this edition will have supported 1,420 people.

“With this new version of Impulso Chileno we want to strongly tell the country’s entrepreneurs that we trust in them, in their businesses, in their talents and abilities. We have seen firsthand the great stories of men and women who, with dedication and passion, are moving their businesses forward in all the regions of Chile, and that is why we want to continue giving this impulse to more people,” says Cristian Schalper, director of Entrepreneurship at the Luksic Foundation.

For her part, the general manager of Fundación Luksic, Macarena Cea, emphasized that: “With their entrepreneurship, people not only generate income, but also contribute to the development of well-being, both individual and collective, and therefore to the development of Chile. For this reason, our commitment to entrepreneurs is strongly renewed and on this occasion we decided to double the number of Impulso Chileno entrepreneurs”.

The contest is intended for persons over 18 years of age, Chileans or foreigners with permanent residence, and who are business owners or majority shareholders of the business they are applying for, which can be in any industry. In order to participate it is necessary that they have started first category activities in the Internal Revenue Service prior to March 1, 2025. In addition, it is established that businesses must have sales over 150 Unidades de Fomento (UF) and less than 5,000 UF in the last calendar year (September 2024 to August 2025). To apply, an online form must be completed on the foundation’s website until Monday, October 6 at 23:59 hours.
