Luksic 2026 Scholarships: Masters, Doctorate and Research Abroad
Each year, the Luksic Foundation encourages more Chilean professionals to continue their education abroad through master’s, doctoral and research programs at leading universities around the world. Learn here about the programs available for 2026 and how to apply.
These scholarships represent a unique opportunity to strengthen knowledge, live intercultural experiences and contribute to the development of the country from a global perspective. Through partnerships with leading institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, France and China, the Luksic Foundation seeks to support those who wish to improve their skills and contribute with their experience to the growth of Chile.
“We believe in the transformative power of international education and in bringing these opportunities to more people. The Luksic Scholarships seek to connect Chile with the world, allowing those who receive them to interact, share experiences and generate knowledge exchange with global academic communities, supporting their professional development and their contribution to the development of the country,” explained María Trinidad García, director of International Education at the Luksic Foundation.
The Luksic Scholarships fully fund the studies and academic experience of those selected, who are chosen directly by the partner universities according to their admission criteria. In addition, the beneficiaries join the Luksic Scholars Community, a global network with more than two thousand members that promotes collaboration, continuous learning and the exchange of experiences among those who have participated in the programs supported by the Foundation since 2000.

In addition to the scholarships mentioned above, the Luksic Foundation also has two additional programs whose calls for applications will be reopened during 2026. These are the Schwarzman Scholars program, a master’s degree in Global Affairs taught at Tsinghua University (China), and the Luksic Visiting Scholars at Harvard DRCLAS, aimed at academics who wish to carry out research stays in the United States.
