“As a family and as a Foundation our heart is set on Antofagasta, so we are even more excited to support the tremendous work they do in Teleton in this region and also throughout Chile. We are proud to have contributed to the construction of this building and to remain committed to its operation,” said Isabella Luksic in a video.
The Instituto Teletón Antofagasta, one of the most modern centers in the country, provided more than 40,000 services during the last 12 months. It was inaugurated in 2020 and has state-of-the-art technology for rehabilitation, including a walking laboratory, multisensory rooms, therapeutic pool and specialized equipment.
Its construction was committed by the Luksic family in 2014 and materialized through a $10 billion donation. Since then, the Luksic Foundation has permanently supported the operation of the center in each version of Teleton.
