Luksic family receives award from King of Spain for development of Ibero-American business space

The 10th Enrique V. Iglesias Award highlights the Luksic family’s business career and its contribution to economic development, productive investment and the strengthening of the Ibero-American business space. The ceremony brought together members of our Board of Directors, members of the jury and representatives of the Luksic family in an event that once again demonstrated the firm support of the Crown to the Ibero-American business community and the work promoted by CEAPI.

During his speech, His Majesty the King highlighted the enormous potential of Ibero-America and the role played by business in the region’s development. “The potential of Ibero-America is often not so well known, and this award helps to promote the fact that the business world is also Ibero-American”.

The jury awarded the prize in 2024 to the Luksic family, which today has participation in mining, banking, transportation, beverages, manufacturing and energy, always maintaining a philanthropic social commitment through the Luksic Foundation with which it impacts thousands of people annually, consolidating itself as one of the most relevant business groups in Latin America,” said the Spanish Royal House.

On behalf of the Luksic family, Paola Luksic expressed her gratitude for the award, emphasizing that this distinction “recognizes a career marked by a commitment to people, countries, the Ibero-American community and future generations”.

Ceapi’s president, Núria Vilanovaemphasized during the event that “His Majesty King Felipe VI has once again demonstrated the Crown’s permanent support for a project that unites more than 400 entrepreneurs from 22 countries under the slogan ‘Believe, create and grow in Ibero-America'”.

With the Enrique V. Iglesias Award, we reaffirm our commitment to the recognition of business leaders who contribute, through excellence and long-term vision, to the economic and social progress of Ibero-America.
