Luksic Foundation supports 600 entrepreneurs with sustainable businesses

The selected companies, which come from the 16 regions of the country, are committed to the reuse of materials, energy efficiency and the circular economy. Each of them received machinery to boost their businesses.

More than 8,000 people applied to the call aimed at entrepreneurs from all over Chile who are implementing sustainable actions in their businesses. In total, 600 entrepreneurs were selected in the 16 regions of the country, with ages ranging from 18 to over 70 years old, reflecting the diversity and commitment to sustainability throughout the country.

“These entrepreneurs are demonstrating that it is possible to grow with effort: generating income, caring for the environment and contributing to their communities. Sustainability is a real opportunity to build more resilient local economies and cities with a better quality of life,” said Cristián Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at the Luksic Foundation.

Through the “Impulso Inicial, Emprendimientos Sustentables” program, the Luksic Foundation provides direct support to those selected through tools or semi-industrial machinery.

Since 2018, more than 16,000 entrepreneurs have been supported by the foundation through its various initiatives, seeking to boost the development and strengthening of entrepreneurship in the country.

During the last few weeks, the selected companies have received their support tools and started using La Brújula del Emprendedor, a platform developed by Fundación Luksic that allows them to carry out a business diagnosis and provides personalized tools on issues such as formalization, digital marketing, administration and costs.

With this, the foundation seeks to foster the sustainable growth of entrepreneurship in Chile, promoting more resilient and sustainable local economies.
