More than 15,000 female entrepreneurs from across the country applied to the Impulso Mujer program

The call for applications, sponsored by the Luksic Foundation, was aimed at female entrepreneurs with registered businesses throughout Chile. Its goal is to strengthen the growth and consolidation of their ventures by providing funding ranging from $1 million to $2 million, to be used for the purchase of fixed assets, digitalization tools, marketing, and working capital.

The latest edition of Impulso Mujer was open for applications from May 18 to June 2. The program aims to support women entrepreneurs from all regions of the country by providing them with concrete opportunities to strengthen their businesses, increase their sales, and advance their economic development.

The call for applications received 15,985 submissions from women entrepreneurs across Chile, reflecting the high level of interest in accessing tools that will help them advance their projects and overcome the various barriers that still hinder women’s economic participation.

Cristián Schalper, social programs manager at the Luksic Foundation, highlighted the initiative’s broad reach: “We are very pleased with the response to this new edition of Impulso Mujer. We see thousands of women who, through their entrepreneurial ventures, are seeking to generate income, develop their talents, and create new opportunities for themselves and their families. As a foundation, we want to stand by them by providing concrete support so they can continue to grow.”

Women Entrepreneurs from All Over Chile

Of the total applications received, 75% are from female entrepreneurs in regions other than the Metropolitan Region. Furthermore, the participants range in age from 18 to 93 and represent a wide variety of industries. Among the sectors with the strongest representation are food (25%), retail (22%), and services (16%), highlighting the diversity and dynamism of women’s entrepreneurship throughout the country.

In this edition, 300 female entrepreneurs will be selected to receive funding and participate in the program. With this edition, the total number of women supported by Impulso Mujer will reach nearly 700.

The Luksic Foundation team will be responsible for evaluating and selecting applicants, verifying that they meet the requirements set forth in the call for applications. Shortlisted entrepreneurs will be notified on June 8, 2026, and must complete a second form between June 8 and 16.

The 300 winners will then be announced on July 6, 2026, and the program will officially begin on July 14.

Impulso Mujer is one of the Luksic Foundation’s initiatives to support entrepreneurs. Through this program, the foundation seeks to continue strengthening the development of women-led startups, promoting their economic independence, and creating more growth opportunities for their businesses.
