More than 22,600 entrepreneurs applied to Impulso Chileno
The seventh version of the program closed with a high participation of entrepreneurs from all over Chile. The initiative, which seeks to boost the growth of their businesses, will provide up to $5 million to 500 SME owners.
The Luksic Foundation finalized a new call for applications for Impulso Chileno, receiving more than 22,600 applications from the 16 regions of the country. The program, which has already established itself as one of the main supports for national entrepreneurship, aims to strengthen formalized entrepreneurs who seek to grow their businesses and generate a positive impact on their communities.
The regions with the highest participation were the Metropolitan Region, which accounted for 30% of the applications, and the Valparaíso Region, with 11%. In addition, 65% of those who applied were women, reflecting the growing female interest in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The sectors with the highest participation were food (25%), services (21%) and commerce (20%).
In this seventh version, 500 entrepreneurs will be selected to receive financing. In this opportunity, all applicants had to complete “The Entrepreneur’s Compass”, a digital leveling tool that provides an automated diagnosis of the business and personalized guidance in key areas such as management, finance and business projection. This step allowed each participant to receive practical and useful support from the very moment of application, enhancing their learning and generating value even before knowing the results of the process.
Cristián Schalper Sepúlveda, the Foundation’s Director of Entrepreneurship, said that “we are very pleased with the great interest shown by entrepreneurs in being part of this new edition of Impulso Chileno. In addition, this year all the applicants will have the opportunity to continue developing their businesses thanks to the Entrepreneur’s Compass tool.”
Next steps
During the next week, the review and selection process of the projects will be carried out, and the 2,500 pre-selected projects will be announced on Monday, October 13, 2025. This notification will be made via email, and the entrepreneurs will move on to the second stage of the application, where they will have to submit new information about their business.
All information about Impulso Chileno and the next steps of the program will be available at www.fundacionluksic.cl and on the Foundation’s social networks.
