The call for applications, launched by the Luksic Foundation in partnership with Caja Los Andes, was aimed at entrepreneurs over the age of 50 with established businesses. Its goal is to strengthen their ventures by providing semi-industrial machinery and digital tools that will enable them to professionalize their production processes and increase their sales.

The call for proposals received more than 5,000 applications from entrepreneurs across Chile. Cristián Schalper, director of the Entrepreneurship Division at the Luksic Foundation, highlighted the widespread interest generated by the initiative: “We are very pleased with the great interest this call for proposals generated. We have seen how thousands of experienced entrepreneurs seek to continue strengthening their businesses and showcasing their talent. For us, it is very valuable to be able to support them with concrete tools that allow them to give their ventures a new boost.”

In this edition, 765 entrepreneurs will be selected to receive support, significantly expanding the program’s reach compared to its first edition, which had 400 winners.

Next Steps

The Luksic Foundation team will be responsible for the selection process, reviewing compliance with the general application requirements. The evaluation of applicants will run from March 17 to June 1, 2026, while the process for purchasing machinery and finalizing the program will take place between June 1 and August 17, 2026.

All communication with applicants will be conducted via the email address provided during the application process. Impulso Senior is part of the Luksic Foundation’s Impulso Emprendedor program, which to date has supported more than 18,000 men and women across the country. Additional calls for applications will be held throughout the year with the aim of continuing to expand opportunities for entrepreneurs seeking to professionalize their projects and continue growing.
